    An Evening with David Sedaris

New York Times bestselling author David Sedaris comes to Hong Kong
    By Hong Kong Stories
    June 12, 2014

Hong Kong ¡V Best-selling, Grammy-nominated American author and humourist, David Sedaris, comes to Hong Kong this 18 September 2014 as part of the StoryWorthyWeek festival. With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, Sedaris has become one of the world¡¦s pre-eminent humour writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. Described as 'the rock star of writers', by 2008 Sedaris' books had sold over seven million copies.

But there¡¦s nothing like seeing and hearing this one-of-a-kind artist in person share stories, observations, works-in-progress and readings from some of his pieces. Hong Kong culture lovers will get a rare peek into his sardonic, frequently hilarious world on 18 September when Sedaris comes to the KITEC Auditorium for a reading. A book signing will follow.
